This might not be an issue for some areas, but in bathrooms and kitchens, waterproofing is important. Caulk is cured when it is dry to touch, and the surface is rubbery and pliable. Always allow at least 24 hours for curing. There are three primary types of caulk, all with different drying times and optimal conditions for the fastest drying.
